Movie or Not? On this site you will find a summary of what the other major Christian movie reviewers have stated about current movies. Also, Movie Or Not will provide a recommendation as to whether or not the movie is suitable for Christian audiences. We will sometimes cite Bible verses as well when providing our recommendation. We don't beat around the bush; if the movie contains scenes that cause Christians to stumble or contains offensive language, we are not afraid to recommend that you not go to the movie, even if "everyone" is going to see it. Likewise, if a movie is a good clean movie we will not hesitate to encourage you to support it. And, by the way, we do not even bother with most PG-13 or R-rated movies that are clearly not suitable for Christians - rather we only focus on those movies "on the bubble" that you may consider taking your family (or not be ashamed to show in front of your family). In summary, our goal is to provide Christians a resource that is consistent with their Biblical convictions with respect to deciding whether or not a movie is suitable for watching. We also can save you a lot of time spent sifting through multiple reviews. In addition, we provide links to other popular reviews cited should you want to read them yourself.
